In Spring 2017, Rossi Contractors, Inc. was awarded a contract for site work associated with the construction of a new hangar building for American Airlines. Completion of this Hangar II Replacement project, located at O’Hare International Airport, will provide American Airlines with a new hangar space roughly 160,000 SF in size, a 35,000 SF support facility and aircraft and equipment parking in excess of 600,000 SF.

American Airlines Inc. plans to increase its air traffic capacity into O'Hare International Airport with the expansion of the Terminal 3 L concourse. This project which started in August 2016 consists of the construction of a new terminal building and site improvements that will allow for the addition of five aircraft parking positions.

Chicago Department of Aviation has commissioned a design-build project for the expansion and modernization of their O’Hare Airport Transit System (ATS) in conjunction with the expansion of their Maintenance and Storage Facility (M&SF) and the construction of a new Consolidated Rental Car Facility (CONRAC). Planning and design for the project date back to 2015, with Rossi Contractors, Inc. construction work commencing in May of 2016. The project consists of the design, construction, testing and commissioning of the transit system expansion.

The 1-190 ATS Bridge Relocation Project at O'Hare International Airport was completed on November 15, 2014 ahead of schedule. Rossi wishes to thank everyone connected with this project for a timely and professional group effort, including CDA, CDOT, IDOT, OATS, CTA & CARE PLUS.
Rossi has completed work on the removal and reconstruction of two bridge piers from the I-190 to the CTA Blue Line with the help of several competent subcontractors. This project was needed because the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) widened the I-190 to provide some congestion relief on the Kennedy Expressway, which directly impacted the structure carrying the Airport Transit System (ATS) Automated Guideway Bridge over the I-190.
